Severe storms with hail and damaging wind gusts may develop in parts of Texas and Oklahoma today. Areas of northwestern Texas are at moderate risk of severe storms capable of producing very large hail and a few tornadoes. In the East, strong to severe thunderstorms are expected from parts of the Virginias into the Northeast.
