* areas of dense fog will reduce visibilities to as low as a few
hundred feet at times this afternoon and evening. The low visibility
will pose a significant hazard to boaters.
* Rain will develop this afternoon. The rain may result in some
improvement in the visibility... though visibilities will
probably still be under a mile at times... and continue to pose
a hazard to boaters.
* Northeast winds will be on the increase late this afternoon and
into the evening. Sustained northeast to north winds to 30 knots are
expected tonight and Thursday.
* Waves will build to 4 to 7 feet by late evening... and continue
at 4 to 7 feet through Thursday.
A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds over 20 knots or
waves greater than 4 feet are expected to produce hazardous
conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners... especially
