Statement as of 15:38 AKST le 02 décembre 2008
... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 8 PM Wednesday to 12 PM
akst Thursday...
The National Weather Service in Juneau has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory... which is in effect from 8 PM Wednesday to
12 PM akst Thursday.
A weather front will move over the northern Alaska Panhandle
producing snow fall amounts of 3 to 5 inches over Wednesday night.
Snow will then mix with rain as temperatures increase on Thursday.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
This statement will be updated by 4 am akst Wednesday or sooner if
conditions warrant.
