Flash Flood Warning
Statement as of 03:25 CDT le 20 juin 2013

... Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for northeastern Logan and
western LaMoure counties until 700 am CDT...

At 324 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar estimated
that up to four inches of rain has fallen in the Gackle... Jud and
Nortonville areas. Additional thunderstorms are possible early this
morning with locally heavy rainfall.

Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
occur. Is expected to occur over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Logan and western LaMoure counties... including the towns of
Alfred... Gackle... Jud and Nortonville.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.

Report flooding to the nearest law enforcement agency so that they
may take appropriate action to close flooded roadways. They will
relay your report to the National Weather Service in Bismarck.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
central Dickey County in southeast North Dakota...
eastern LaMoure County in southeast North Dakota...

* until 830 am CDT

* at 233 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the
warned area. Doppler rainfall estimates of two to four inches has
fallen in the warned area.

* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
occur. Flash flooding is expected to occur over mainly rural areas
of central Dickey and eastern LaMoure counties... including the
towns of Adrian... Berlin... Dickey... Grand Rapids... La Moure and
Monango.
