... NWS damage survey for 08/02/2015 tornado event...

.Overview... Two landspout tornadoes briefly occurred south
of North Platte in the Lake Maloney area on Sunday. The first
landspout tornado... which was a delayed report... was
located about 9 miles south of North Platte at 325 PM CDT.
The second landspout tornado was located 5 miles south of
North Platte around 335 PM CDT. Landspout tornadoes are
generally weak and short-lived. Each occurred in an open
field and no damage was reported.
