Through 6 am...scattered showers...moving northwest around 30 mph...will move into portions of south Texas. Some of this rain will impact Taft and Mathis between 4 and 5 am...and possibly Beeville and Refugio before 6 am. Additional showers over the Gulf waters will likely move into areas near and north of Port Aransas before 5 am. Rainfall amounts will average 1/4 inch or less. A lightning strike is also possible...along with some brief wind gusts associated with any thunderstorm.
