We are about given up on having a normal rainfall this year. Here at the rancho, just above 13 inches so far and the predicted rain for yesterday never materialized. Pasture is looking okay, thanks to misty storms that at least moisten the ground yet don't deliver any run-off. Lake Pillsbury is at about 54% capacity, and on Friday we drove into an area of the National Forest that is usually snowed in this time of year - but there was just a little bit of snow on the north sides of canyons. So no snow pack to fill the lakes later in the year.
It has been good weather for outdoor activities, riding, hiking etc so enjoying that while wishing we were cursing the rain!
