wouldn't take much

Yes its a wonderful day - off to work
but I'm smilin anyway!

since it takes close to an hour
to get to work
it gives me a chance to find
things to occupy my little
pyrates brain along the way
Today I discovered a really
cool little radio station
for us in the Houston area
89.7 fm
its out of alvin community college
(talk about hidden treasures LOL)
its an awesome station that
plays what it wants to - a rarity
I mean where can you hear
Ozzie's Mr. Crowley anywhere else?
Well this morning the dj's there
are on a CHUCK NORRIS POWER HOUR
rant and the list is hysterical:
CHUCK NORRIS....
can divide by zero
can grind his coffee with his teeth
and make the water boil with his rage alone
can knock down one bowling pin ... the other
nine faint

such a nice little discovery today.
According to friends of mine who worked his last movie with him - he was the real thing - generous, in love with his wife and children, faithful to his city (never went Hollywood) and a very talented giving person. Truly a loss.

I thought of something today. Bernie Mac, Isaac Hayes and Samuel Jackson just finished making that movie together. Both Mac and Hayes died this weekend, which is seriously weird. If I was Jackson, I'd be getting a bit antsy right about now.....
Did do much blog hopping yesterday or today... but yes, I heard about Issac Hayes when it was announced yesterday.. Was so shocked. He is from Memphis, my old stomping grounds...I so remember him during my college years.
