Steady rain, southerly breeze 20-25KPH, temp 10C, conditions to remain thus till tomorrow. Gradual clearing, looking for a nice holiday weekend.

Yesterday mom completed her life journey, having suffered a stroke a month ago, from which she never recovered. A grand lady in her 95th year, enjoyed a good quality of life till the last few weeks. RIP

Dear Rob: I am so sorry to hear about your mom! I always marveled that you took her out for her drive each week as she wanted to see all the goings on around the island. You will probably miss that with her. There will be a lot to arrange now and plenty of friends and family in so this will be a busy time for you.
