Wooly at the moment, damp, muggy at 20C. SW breeze, wind to change westerly clear with temps to rise high 20's, forecast for the remainder of the week.
Geese have invaded the lawn, fireworks makes them move about five feet, awful messy, and destroying the lawn. Will keep at them to show they are unwelcome, don't seem to make much difference believe they are laughing at me when I chase them, I know Donna is.
Rob at work this holiday, at least for the morning, Emily in Quispam returning for a few days sometime today. Haven't been advised which ferry she is heading for, assume it will be as late as possible.

We saw all the geese behind a fishing place in Grand Harbour yesterday. There easily was 200 or more and they were huge honkers. They were eating grass in the field like there was no tomorrow so can't imagine what they would do to your lawn. Free fertilizer?
Yesterday's fog was no deterient for us. We were on the Anchorage Beach from Ox Head to the Anchorage Picnic sight, wherein we found a barbecu going on. As we got there, apparently, at the very last minute we got an extraordinary good deal on bbq chicken, fresh corn, pickles, and rolls. This we ate at the Long Pond picnic site. Some people from Ontario stopped and said - great day for a picnic - hubby said yup, and a great day for a swim. (they had their two kids in Long Pond Swimming).
So today is going to be some kind of hiking deal and whatever. Tomorrow for some stupid reason I am dragging my body up at 6:00 a.m. and am off with Peter to Michias to see the puffins. I am so pumped!
