Weather remains constanct, clear, cooler, calm, a bit of haze this morning. Temp to rise into mid 20's with humidity seems much warmer, but with the daylight dropping back cools down during the evening.
News about town quiet, some of the university kids drifting to the various institutions getting prepared for school. Fishery news remains quiet, nothing much going on.

All our hurricane preps are underway. Would sure be nice to know what Isaac is going to do. We have all our supplies handy and ready to move quickly. Our generator has been started and all we need to do now is get the extra gas. Our grill has a full tank of gas if we need to cook and have no power. Will get ice in the big ice chest most likely Sunday morning. The essentials my bag o chocolates will be purchased this weekend. Please Rob send your hurricane prayers in our direction. Of course my son is in Tampa producing for Fox 13. They are working nonstop through Sept 2 due to the Reb. Conv. This is one big gigantic mess.
You mention the Tourist Season, I agree certainly gives the appearance of things being busy. The weather has been and continues to be something else. No breeze for days on end, the 'afternoon sou'wester' has been no existant this season. As a consequence the water temp for the salmon growers unusually high, nearly a consistant 14C, high for the Bay of Fundy.
Emily getting pretty excited about the move to Fredericton. The week exposure at 'camp' nothing but a positive. She knows where things are, got an idea of what the day will be like, met some fellow first year types. Some she liked better than others, just the same as everyday meeting of new people, not intimidated with the programme, now up to her to see if she can manage the courses.
Rob getting a bit weary, smiling a bit more all the time, a nice bank account, a week off, a chance to purchase new hockey equipment all before school staqts. His squeeze off next weekend for UINB St. John, see that how goes over.
Stay cool, staying warm certainly not a problem.
