Hi All, We went to Lake Lewisville Monday to enjoy the wonderful weather. Took lots of pictures of ducks and coots. Shot the backside of retreating songbirds. Saw; Myrtle Warbler, bluejays, cardinals, little fly catchers. Good birding day.
In our yard a new visitor has shown up. Seems to be stalking (lol) the juncos because it always shows up a few minutes after them. I think it's a female "common yellow throat warbler" but this is sooo the wrong area for one.
Here are three pics of the mystery bird;
Here are pics from the lake. I used the "quick fix" from Photoshop Elements 10 Organizer. It made the water bluer. I'm still going through the learning curve on the PSE-10. It's in two parts; the editor for the fancy edits and Organizer which is a giant photo album. So far am underwelmed due to the lack of intuitive tools like say with Piknik. Unfortunatley Google has eaten Piknik and it will be gone by April.
And of course Miss Roxie out enjoying the day too.
