Hi All, thanks for coming by the last blog and leaving your thoughts about whats next in space exploration.
I'm back from vacation and here is a quick blog. Will be working OT for rest of month starting tomorrow so won't be around much. Eat, sleep, work.
We went to Beavers Bend State Resort Park in beautiful Oklahoma. It is the part of the Ouachita Mountain Chain which is made of sedementry rock thrust upward during a collision of North American and South American plates.
I snapped 525 pictures. Here is a quick peak. Have some really neat shots yet to come. Saw lots of wildlife and had a great time hanging out with some of the nicest folks you could ever meet outside of WUville. Our hosts and guides have been coming to Beavers Bend since 1969. They have known each other since grade school and still are tickled with each others company. It was just as fun being with them sharing stories at their camp as walking the trails together.
Time to call it night and get ready for the long work month. Thanks for stopping by.

can't seem to access the main blogs this morning. WU must be doing maintenance. Hope this comment goes through.
Made the mistake of looking at the news as an alternative. Yikes. Now I want to run back to bed and hide under the covers.
Hey Sandi, yep, thats the thing I want to avoid. Did like those Aaron type sweaters though back when I lived in Minnesota. They were great when it got below freezing and everywhere, even indoors seemed cold.
Hi Janetlee, yeah we are part of the sister survival club. For every year we have a birthday we can subtract two years from our other age. Wouldn't it be great to be 29 again ;) And yes, the playing ball picture is my favorite too.
Hi Ylee, that just tickled me for some reason. Really hope it cools down your way. Between heat, hail and deer this is not a good crop year for you. Please drink lots of water and stay healthy.
Hi Karen, I think the sweet sixteen started falling out of favor during the 70's. Guess the generic right of passage now is getting a learners permit and drivers license. Sparkly flip flops and painted toes, now thats a summer look I can fully endorse.
Okay, off to work.
At least this heat has allowed me to sweat off some of my blubber! :)
Are you off work now?
