Hurricane Philippe has peaked as he moves Northeast out to sea. Irwin and Jova will be our main focus until around Sunday(when we could see Rina in the Atlantic from a Sub-tropical system off the Florida coast). Irwin is gradually strengthening and is forecasted to become a hurricane Friday. Jova is forecasted to slowly progress into a hurricane and could become a Category 2 before hitting the West Mexican Coatline. Irwin could make a landfall on Mexico as well, but will be weaker.

I had the same guess for October. Would not be surprised to see a storm or two in November. It will be trough city though, and shear will be screaming through most of the Atlantic Basin.

Yep, but Deep tropics could pull a storm out of it or two

I think something Rina-ish forms off the FL east coast in the 72-96 hour frame. I think development will be delayed because the air over and near FL is fairly dry.
