Don't quote inflammatory / derogatory remarks. Use [-], [!] and [ignore].
DO post interesting links, imagery and articles that relate to the wx events being discussed.
Don't kill off all the crows in the world by making wild unsubstantiated (to replace a shorter word lol) guesses about the wx; use ur tools!
95L is under a lot of dry air
New Orleans, Base Reflectivity 0.60 Degree Elevation Range 225 NMI
That's a wonderful idea. Too many important things on the horizon that need to be monitored.
Looks like it is headed north at a steady pace.
On the move..yep

Based on what I have seen, Gov. Jindal has been on top of the Oil Spill situation since day one. At least much more than Mr. Independent Charlie Christ has.
did u post any info about it on ur blog? How did things go? (I wasn't able to be in the blog during the "crucial" moments.... :o(
Hi from near New Orleans...or more particularly Hammond..just moved for Wife's job from Sarasota Fl...and 95 if following us..LOL..its small and kind of cute so far..hope it stays that way...that dry slot can really be felt up here.
Now Politics.
I need another bev...
Just like yer post's
LOL
Boom,bada BING.
I've been trying to find out since u started posting here what kinda snake that is in ur avatar...
Sure can feel that dry air..it moved in here on the S shore after that Morning round of Storms.
Sweet out at the moment.
Welcome to Louisiana
Yah, Jindal has national ambitions. He was down on the coast for every photo op he could get while the legislature was in session, but ... this is strictly off topic.
Not yet at the surface. Good vorticity at 700-850MB, a mid level circulation will slowly translate to the surface over the next 24 hrs or so. As soon as the NHC discovers a surface L, we will have TD 2 for sure :o)
I concur,..
shame it aint going to last.
I advise also to make preps early this week just in case 96L decides to be all it can be and move north.
First time for me Patrap, wife has been here a couple of weeks...seems like home! Wife's famly is 1st gen French and Indian....and me a Indian from the upper midwest...so I like the people here...seems like home.
I tend to agree one may be developing. 96L is looking very healthy.
Please check out the Portlight blog as we had a request from a Mexican Blogger suffering from Alex's Impact and were sending water ASAP to their requested area thru some contacts.
Well were like a good Gumbo down here,..all the more mix is best for the pot.
Thats a fine heritage too.
Hey IKE,
Yes is the same track as GFS 18Z. I agree this is the possible track by the moment
