Daniel's remnants have departed
Posted by: KeleHawaii, 12:57 GMT le 14 juillet 2012 +0
The system has moved off to the west and has cleared the islands. I had intermittent gentle rains which gave me a half inch of precip during the period.

Next will come the remnants of Hurricane Emilia which will likely pass a bit closer to the Big Island than Daniel did some time in the middle of the coming week.

Now it is dry, clear and cool. A beautiful early morning.

I've been keeping an eye on your weather. Nothing like a gentle half-inch to make people happy.

Here's a link you might enjoy. You folks in the EPAC have all the action this week!

My crops are even happier as the rain from the sky is full of negative ions which helps them increase their growth rates. If I am irrigating them with ground water, they get positive ions which seems to slow them down a bit but they do keep growing despite that!
