Where is Lago Mar? We are about 2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, as the crow flies. It is about a 5 minute drive down Sandbridge Road to Sandbridge Beach. One might say that we are the gateway to the Outer Banks of Virginia.

We are on the northern tip of the Back Bay of the Currituck Sound. All water in Lago Mar drains to Back Bay through deep water canals.

We are in the area formerly known as Princess Anne Borough. We are lucky enough to still have the 23456 zip code, and are in the Kellam School district, which also serves Courthouse and most of south Virginia Beach. We are happily situated just where the shopping and traffic melts into the farms and forests of the south.
