The ISON Comet will come within less than 1 million miles of our Sun and parallels the path of the Great Comet of 1680. They predict it will be closest to the Sun on November 28, 2013 and should be visible during the day. See more details at Space.com
Arrived in Bombay India early this morning. Althought the summer monsoon has started some of the major farm areas still have not received significant rainfall causing worry if the crops will survive. We are headed Assam tomorrow where the monsoon flooding is the worst since 1998. Some areas have gotten to much rain while other areas are still in need of rainfalll. The summer monsoon is critical the lives of so many in India.Jim Near - Charleston SC
