Hot and hazy.

Wow. The experiences of the Waldo Canyon Fire have changed me forever. Our house wasn't among those lost to the blaze, but it wouldn't have been too surprising if it had been.

Now Colorado Springs is under a heavy blanket of haze. We're all glad it's from far away this time.

The heat is bad, too.
