So it was 34 degrees this morning, the house without heat was 61,still bearable, but flicked on the little electric heater for a while. Should have the new furnace running sometime today. They had some complications yesterday, which is expected when your replacing an old system. The new components don't always connect to the same wiring and duct work.
Was fascinated watching the Chilean miners one by one coming to th surface.Heartwarming to see wives and kids and families hugging the miners. The real human interest story will be the miner who has his wife and his pregnant girlfriend waiting for him.Hmmmm, wonder if he really wants to come to the surface, the surroundings down there may seem a little safer to him.

Example number 2,putting in a new automatic garage door, need to replace the aluminum flashing around the door opening, when the old aluminum flashing is taken off,we find the wood underneath was destroyed by carpenter ants.I had found them a couple of years ago and had to get an exterminator in to kill them, little did I know how far they had gotten.
Now I'm suppose to have someone take down these huge pine trees next to my garage, they are getting very weak, based on what has been happening on these projects, not sure I want to trust taking down those trees.
