Sure would be nice to have these weekends continue into summer.
Hope everyone had a nice Mother's day, family had a nice brunch yesterday.Expecting another busy week, but short week as I'll be off Friday.
Redsox actually have a winning streak going, see how long this lasts.Celtics have one win under their belt against Philadelphia, but they look hobbled, don't know if they are going to work awfully hard.
Sad story of Boston Universty students killed and injured in New Zealand this weekend. 3 dead and one hanging on to live and 3 others severely injured.

Yesterday's beautiful local weather certainly was appreciated by local Mothers, my hubby and many the other day! The only drawback has been the effects of the exceedingly high pollen count. We'll be so happy when our sniffles and itchy watery eyes and noses have nothing more to sneeze about! Les Miserables! LOL!
Like you, I don't mind a few more days of intermittent rainfall as long as it's accompanied by these warmer temps. It could also put a good crimp into the remaining (-5.6 in.) of current rainfall deficit. Hard to believe, with nearby gardens and lawns currently looking so lush, that we're still low for this time of year. Nevertheless, it's so pleasant to look out my window and see plenty of colorful greenery instead of sparseness and gray.
I can't help but chuckle, a bit, over the Red Sox's 12-1 win over Cleveland yesterday. How long do you think it's going to last? Just wait until they get on the road again. LOL!Fingers crossed on the Celts continuing to overcome any of their disabilities against Philly in these playoffs.
Regarding the tragic car accident in New Zealand, I can't help but question the speed in which the van was going when the driver tried to allegedly "over-correct". It's another painful case of live and learn with young drivers both internationally and nationally.
Just thought you might want to know that Gamma's beloved old pooch, Harley, had to be put down earlier today due to increasing age-related problems, etc. Those of us who've ever been in her situation before know full well what a painful decision it is to finally make, but I'm glad she put her dog's suffering above her own.
Thought you might want to post a note of sympathy and/or comfort on her blogsite today.
