Tuesday is one of the days, you have mixed feelings about.Monday is the start of the work week,so you naturally dislike that day. Wednesday is the half way period, and weekend is approaching, same with Thurs and Friday. Tuesdays are not the start of the week, but the end of the week is still aways to go.
The kind of day you just ignore, since it doesn't cheer you up and doesn't bring you down.
We here in the east are in a quiet zone, actually saw a little sun this morning, while its raining out western portions of new england.Slowly the rain should move east arriving late this afternoon, and could come down heavy for a while tonight. Tomorrow will be a transistion day with sun and showers around. Then the really nice stretch of weather sets in.
Celtics lost, they just look hurt and old right now.
Redsox won their 4th in a row.An afternoon game today before they hit the road for a tough road trip with Tampa Bay,Philadelphia and Baltimore. This will really prove whether they are going to be a contender or just an also ran.

Nice to see that Pat's dropped by with the perfect musical antidote for Tuesday. Just love the Moody Blues and miss those days when all were alive and playing in concerts. I think it's been about 12 years since I last saw them last perform in a concert on TV. How time marches on .... UGH! LOL!
I guess I over-reacted, yesterday afternoon, to what was originally seen heading our way on our local radar screen. It looked like there were some serious thunderboomers in store for us but, thankfully, we ended up receiving only heavy downpours. So grateful we lucked out! May our luck for evading any future lightning strikes remain in tact as well! These storms sure bring out my inner scaredy-cat! LOL!
Too bad the Celts lost on home turf last night. Their next game in Philly could be a much greater challenge without locals cheering them on through the pain. At least, to their credit, they've made it this far.
As far as the Red Sox are concerned, well ... I'm still quite dubious, especially, when a certain overpaid declining "star" pitcher called in sick, several weeks ago, with a so-called elbow injury and ended up being found on the golf course the same day. It pretty much sums up how certain petulant players and the organizational heads continue believing they can rest on PAST laurels. Pretty pathetic and warrants some decent trade deals during the All-Star break or the selling the team to more emotionally invested owners. N'est pas?
Looks like the weather system, below, is picking up steam while heading our way. Hope it's only heavy rains again.
Mass,we got that quick downpour yesterday afternoon also,so far today is looking good, but I've been watching those showers to our south and wouldn't be surprised to hear a little thunder come through, but have a feeling it won't be anything serious, just some downpours.
But you knowwww, if you are taking Friday off, then this is really hump day and Thurs is TGIT. Then of course you have the real Wednesday which then would really be like a Thursday, but today is really like a Wednesday and not really a Tuesday. See maybe I was right when I thought it was Wednesday and not Tuesday :)
Sorry, haven't been around much but much thanks to you and Mass for the visits. I'll get over there soon hopefully to respond. Seems like I get here and then maybe one or two other blogs. Glad you and the Mrs. had a lovely brunch with the family.
Looks like we are going to get some weathah in our area, too. One of the first rallies of the NATO conference is tonight on the South side. They may get hailed on (dang, hee hee)
