A special Week for US and WUBA!
This week is one weve been looking forward to.The official end of the Hurricane season fast approaches.Plus,..were having some special WUBA members to visit us here in New Orleans.Im looking forward to sharing what happened here with them..along with showing how much weve progressed since the Great Storm of August 05.We will also enjoy some fun time in the French Quarter too!.Hope all of you have a great week too.

Thanksgiving Thoughts..
We look back on the year and see we have much to be thankful for.We have a Home,..and our Healthy Children.We have wonderful friends and have food on the table.Our lives..though greatly changed..seem to be never richer,in the Blessings we enjoy now.Thanks to all our Wunderground friends for lending a caring word,or a gentle nudge when needed.

Seasonal Ending to a quiet year
Well..another Tropical season is about to be offically over.We saw in this year that El Nino,though mild..was a significant factor in keeping the West bound Atlantic Waves..sheared and at Bay.Also the Upper Level Winds were in Our favor as they continually played havoc with the Systems.Plus , we learned a lot about dust too!No major landfalls were the rule of the year.And for that..we are very thankful.We look forward to the seasonal break from the Tropics.We now turn our attention to the Upcoming Thanksgiving season.For which we all..have something to be thankful for.

Veterans Day

A Great Day for Football
Sons first Middle School JV Game ..they start Later than High school Here.We love seeing Him play again after 6 straight years of Playground Football.He Missed last year due to the Facilities all round being Wacked by Katrina.Plus lotsa Folks werent back to School till Late October last year..Heres Some of Todays Game..in pictures.A great Normal Day..
