TO THE NHC FORECAST IS REQUIRED...AND ADDITIONAL SHIFTS TO THE
NORTH AND EAST MAY BE NECESSARY IN SUBSEQUENT ADVISORY PACKAGES.
NEEDLESS TO SAY...THIS IS A LOW CONFIDENCE FORECAST.
Thus sets the stage for the playout of the next five months.
Of much lesser note, my snake saga still in progress (hopefully)...no new developments, internet sources say 3-4 days for hatching is not unusual.
P.S. Internet has gotten so slow I can no longer even pull up loops except WU radars. I have seen this happen before during storms but not so bad as this. Maybe just local...I have the top residential package from Central FL Bright House(share the cost with my gamer sons). Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

{{{Finn}}}~ Good to see you. Saw that tornadic twist in your town & had stopped by your blog. Glad there wasn't more damage. Looked like something that might just take shingles & not roofs. Thanks for the update.
Shep~ That is awesome:))
Wab~~ Recon did have her strengthening despite the time of day..
Many models are settling on Big Bend, coming out Jacksonville area. That shouldn't be much worse than a Cat 1 at worse, surge could be an added 4 so ft. Some have settled on LA. This could be stronger, maybe a Cat 2 worse case.. & then there is the unwavering Geos-5, only run through 45hrs so far but looks the same so far, meandering off La, days more rain for FL.
Steady sprinkle continues here. 0.24" so far. Y'all look out for tornadoes.
One more baby snake hatched a couple of hours ago...poor thing has been yoked to its yolk sack but it looks OK. Nine eggs to go. Some do not look good, but I hope a few more make it out.

Vibes still flying...
I watched that line of storms come in from the west off of the ocean, it was very strange. There was that convergent band pounding the Tampa Bay area for much of the day, then in the late afternoon/early evening it was as if the band swung around and attacked the entire FL Gulf coast from Tampa south, with the line moving in rapidly from the WSW as if it were some sort of front. Maybe a slug of dry air got pulled into the mid-layers and it was a sort of dry line. But whatever it was, with the line moving in from that direction and surface winds from the S and SE it was obviously big trouble the entire way across the state. We got lucky it wasn't worse.
Still expecting Debby to sit there & drown FL through like Thursday or Friday before it starts trekking west. Maybe brush LA on the way to TX..
Flooding & tornadoes are the biggest threat. East central FL has been bumped up to the orange warning for tornadoes today.
AF309 is up.. got a fix, now buzzing the coast just south of Tampa at about 5000'..
