Why was there a rock in the tree?
As for the rock in tree, it was a art thing within the potanical gardens. Pretty cool though.
Thanks for posting - it's really fun to see some of your world!
WOW, love those photographs. YOu got some beautiful shots... now about that rock in that tree.. how on Earth did someone get it up there???
Thank you for sharing those with us.. Glad you are enjoying your travels in the US NAVY!
When my son was in the Navy, he was on the destroyer the USS Arleigh Burk, which led that "fleet" as it headed across the Atlantic to their "Mediterrean Tour"...
Back in the Mid 90's it was the "Bad Ass" Destroyer.. have you ever heard of that ship? He loved his deployment; and they almost saw action in Bosnia..
their ship held the missiles the entire 6 months that were eventually launched.
As they left, they loaded them onto their replacement ship and before they got out of the Mediterrean Sea the sister ship had launched their missils and the war/conflict started.
He got "hazardous duty" pay that month so was happy...what does a 20 year old kid know. :o)
So just wanted to say Hello and thanks for the photos!!! Hope you and your family are having a great reunion!
