Just got the news that the very cold air has moved south into the United States. It was due to happen as the very cold air, along with high winds, have been hitting us for days.
I posted a few photos from my window which looks towards the mountains on all sides.
When the winds are visible near the top of the range showing snow blowing, it is cold!
Was outside last night with my good buddy Eric and the night sky was incredible. The stars were bright and glowing.
There are no city lights to interfere.
The winds were very cold and soon enough we were back inside the gas station. Weather bulletins were being broadcast on the only radio station to stay inside. Of course that usually makes us go outside here in Canada :)
We are located high in the mountains, and have not recorded this kind of cold weather, in years.
It is going to last for up to another 5 days.
