BRAND NEW STUFF!

Charlesimages-Stormedia has moved from stormedia.info, and can be found at www.charlesimages-stormedia.com (See the follow buttons at the footer of this entry for ways to connect with Charlesimages-Stormedia)

Alright, it's been a while since I've blogged here, and I think it's time for a blog face lift of sorts. I have added all new buttons to the footer of my blog now, including a banner to click on that takes you to Charlesimages-Stormedia.com.

I've been busy, stressed, and depressed over the past few weeks, so please forgive my lack of participation and updates. I have been quite busy over on my facebook page as well. Facebook is kind of an "all in one" place, you have email, statuses, links, and loads more. I really enjoy my time over there.

Not a whole heck of a lot has happened since the record warmth in March. It snowed in April. Here's a video I captured of that. It came down rather hard at times.

I also got around to uploading footage of a European Garden Spider I found in March. That can be found by Clicking Here.

But most notably, Greenville, MI had one of it's best storm days of the year on May 3, 2012. This day had both triumph and tragedy involved, ad I lost camera #2 in the strong winds. I was so excited to find camera #2 in storage, and now it's dead, so I am trying to figure out a way to buy another one, but I cannot do it alone. That is why I am developing some sort of donations drive for a new one, but also, give something back in return for kindness. Something special, from me. But that will be figured out in time. If you'd like to read what happened, please click here "Severe Weather, Tragedy, and Time Lapse" below is an image from that day, and below the image are a couple of videos, including one very nice thunderstorm sunset time lapse.

This first video is of the squall line moving through. The second video is of the thunderstorm sunset time lapse.

All in all I have been very busy these days. Also trying to make money with Google AdSense. It's a great program, and I tell about my experience with Google AdSense here in This Blog Article.

One of the coolest things I have done lately is put together an article of some old weather images I found from 2003-2004. I digitally retouched them, and they can be found by clicking in the image below! Must see, it's like a step back in time!

The Early Years: Digitally Retouched Storm Photos of 2003-2004

Hey Charles!
Sorry to hear you've been feeling down.
Stress is a real issue. There are ways of dealing with it, but it takes practice. Hang in there and try to get a little R&R.

The new page layout is really great. Been meaning to post a comment on it for a couple days, but keep getting busy and forgetting.

Hope you have a really great day!

Hey Rob! Good to see ya man. Yeah, been down and up, and back down, it's a process really. I deal with it as best I can. Stress sucks, and it's harmful to one's health. R&R is always nice to have :)

Glad you like the new page! I put a whole lot of work into it, to try and make it perfect. I know what it's like being busy and forgetting, heck, half the stuff I need to get done, is half done.

Thanks! Hope you're well. I'll update soon. I'm just flying around the internet checking things tonight ;)

Hi Charles!

Glad you are still with us - but busy. Don't get stressed.... it is bad for you. Take your camera and enjoy what nature can provide, from the smallest flower to the tallest cloud, and breathe - deeply! Folk who say they are stressed are often just forgetting to breathe!

Love the first photo - mammatus clouds aren't they?

Hey Sandi! Good to see you. Oh yes, still around but very busy indeed. I definitely agree on stress. I need to get out more, my bicycle is still up at my Uncle's house, so I'm not riding like I used to, so that is part of the reason behind my health decline. I love clouds and flowers both, haven't lost my love for those :) Glad you like the image. The one I have linked to my blog (all gray and stuff) that's Whale's Mouth behind a Shelf Cloud. Looks a lot like Mammatus though for sure.
