Weather or Not!

Wonderful Weather for Mid Michigan
Posted by: chatcat, 13:33 GMT le 26 juin 2011 +0
Yesterday was beautiful. Temps were just perfect (76F), there was just enough breeze to keep cool and the humidity was only 35%. There were a few clouds but plenty of sun. We have a very active bunny community. The dogs love chasing them and its amazing how fast those little dachsie legs can move. Today is beginning with sun and a few high clouds. We should see temps near 80F and possibly a few more clouds than yesterday, but at least no rain is in the forecast.
The Saginaw River Roar is today and they sure have a beautiful day for it, but our local weatherman was warning people to take sweatshirts with them because it will get quite chilly by tonight. It's always a little chilly on the water anyway. I hope that there are no serious accidents or injuries.

OUR FORECAST:

  • Today: Abundant sunshine. High 78F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.

  • Tonight: A few passing clouds. Low 57F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph.

  • Tomorrow: A few isolated thunderstorms developing during the afternoon under partly cloudy skies. A few storms may be severe. High 82F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

  • Tomorrow night: Variable clouds with thunderstorms. A few may be severe. Storms may produce large hail and strong winds. Low 66F. SSE winds shifting to W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

  • Tuesday: A few morning showers. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

  • Wednesday: More sun than clouds. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s.

Absolutely Wonderful in Mid Michgian

Yesterday was about as perfect as a day can be. Temps were just comfortable (upper 70s), the humidity was extremely low (14%) and winds were just right (5 to 10 mph). Skies were clear most of the day with just a few light clouds moving through in the afternoon. I did get out for a 12 mile bike ride and we had a campfire last night. Gotta take advantage of this weather when we have it which isn't too often. The full moon was a added touch. It was so bright that no lights were needed. This morning is different. Skies are mostly cloudy, our 9:15 AM temp is 60.8F, winds are from the SE at 11 mph gusting to 19 mph. The humidity is at 52% and the pressure is 29.94" and falling. The dew point is 51F. Today we will have mostly cloudy skies with possible showers moving in after 4 PM. Winds will increase as the rain draws closer. The dopplar is already showing rain in the SW corner of the state.

OUR FORECAST:
Tonight: Numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms. Lows 56 to 60F. SE winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy in the AM, then becoming partly sunny. A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 73 to 77F.
Thursday Night: Thunderstorms possible before midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. Chance of rain 30%. Light and variable winds.
Friday: Partly sunny with high near 80F. Light and variable winds becoming NE at 5 to 10 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s.

Almost Perfect in Mid Michigan

p>What a great day we had yesterday. It was about as perfect as a day can be. We had sun all day with very low humidity, and the high was only 72F. So we took advantage and headed for the rail trail in St Charles with our bikes.
I haven't been doing much riding this year because of the weather and it became apparent as to how out-of-shape I am. I only rode 14 miles instead of the entire 19, but got a good workout none the less. Today should be nice also but we will see more clouds as another weather system moves in from the west. We aren't expecting any severe stuff out of this one although it will be a possibility later in the week. Right now (9:15 AM), our temp is 58.8F, the humidity is 57%, winds are out of the SE at 7 mph, the dew point is 50F. and the pressure is 30.27" and steady. Visibility is 10 miles.

OUR FORECAST:
Today: Becoming mostly sunny by afternoon. High 75 to 79. Winds from the SE at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy overnight. A 40% chance of showers or thunderstorms. Lows 60 to 64 with increasing SE winds at 15 to 20 mph.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 84 to 87F. Winds from the SW at 5 to 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy with lows of 58 to 62F. Winds from the W at 5 to 15 mph.
Sunday: Partly sunny with highs 76 t0 80F. NW winds at 5 to 10 mph turning north, then becoming light and variable.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy with lows 55 to 59F.

TILL NEXT TIME . . . . CATHIE
