05:45, 73F, misty. lovely conjunction of venus, saturn, and waning crescent moon in the east. tried to see at least one meteor but the mosquitos found me so I went inside. roosters waking up.
08:40, medium high tide at CK. mid-80's, W wind 3-5 knts. mostly cloudy. slight chop at sand spit. a flock of kayakers in yellow kayaks heading to atsena otie..
11:30, high tide at #4 bridge. avoided the shrimp guy. too much temptation and no $$.. one white heron way back in the spartina. kingfisher on the wire.
15:00, 88F at the back door. mostly cloudy. lil pup went for swim in horse trough. got the mosquito fish all upset and the trough all muddy. she smelled like a swamp when I got her out. reddog not doing well.
19:50, 81F, partly cloudy, hazy. got one egg. mosquitos still bad. gold sunset going on.
