Live on the gulf coast. grew up in Bolivar right at the Galveston ferry landing, first row. Live deeper inland now in Se Texas, and still lost everything to Ike.
I have always been interested in weather, and was stoked to find this site. I am just here to observe and ask questions when I need to.

I am just back on my feet in anew home since IKE, and i hope to keep it. I have no doubt that we will be afftected by another strong storm, i just do not know when.
I thank everyone for their help last year, before, during and after IKE. Your words, and opinions helped me to leave when i needed to. That saved my life. I like so many evac'd for gustav, and was hesitant to leave for Ike. It was the best thing I ever did. I have learned alot in a short time.
