=================================================

Today will see a mix of sun and cloud with a wind up to 15 km/h (9 mph). The high will be a chilly -20C(-4F). The wind chill this morning is -36C(-32.8F) this morning.
Tonight will bring increasing cloudiness with periods of snow beginning overnight. The overnight low will be -25C(-13F).
------------------------------------------------- ---
It looks like it's back to normal january weather here on the prairie. It sure makes outdoor acivities uncomfortable. i never took Abbey out for her walk am I ever getting lazy. All I did yesterday was to paint a patch that had to be made due to that bad Kramer. He had chosen a spot near the bottom of the basement stairs as a place to sharpen his claws and had scratched right through the paper layer of the drywall. now that he's decided to be and outside cat he leaves the walls and furniture alone. By spring I'll have to start brushing him to keep the shedding down.
Today for sure I'll have to get back to the harness and maybe bake a capachino cake while the Queen and grandaughter are working. I've also got to clean up my computer desk. It's getting so crowded that I have to move things when I use a printer.

Good morning Tony. Its raining here today with temps in the mid to high 40s then back to a deep freeze for tomorrow until Sunday when it warms up again. At least the snow is gone.

Bugs was not declawed either and he use to use the door frame for his scratching post. I let him go ahead and do that and he never touched the furniture. Its easier fixing and painting a door frame than it is replacing expensive furniture.

Time to grab my coffee and have a bit of breakfast before I head out to the grocery store. Might as well enjoy this warm spell before it goes back down into the daytime highs in the mid 20s...burrrrr. Not looking forward to that.

Have a great day. Try not to spoil those little ones too much...LOL

Ooooh cappuchino cake! That sounds wonderful.

The spouse came with an older cranky cat that fortunatly I was not too allergic to.
She tore up both sides of the couch but stopped when I moved Sydneys cage by the couch and would let him out to patrol the top backrest. (Supervised)

Ever since Syd got a hold of her tail she has given him wide berth. Because she was such a contrary feline I made the worlds ugliest cat post. She ignored all others, but with this tacky thing in the living room she decided it was hers to scratch.

Problem solved.

Now there is an idea MUSH...Kramer's scratching post. Real easy to make, either wrap post in piece of rug or do like I did, Wrapped and glued a jute rope around a piece of wood, attached a base for stability and voila, one happy kitty....of course you can put a perch on the top so kitty can lay on it too. I am sure you can figure out something cool for Mr Kramer...LOL
