I do feel bad for our friends in the Sunshine State... Debby's going to be one of the most destructive tropical storms in recent history...

Even a slight rise in tide/surf can inundate sea turtle nests... Teams of volunteers may be asked to relocate hundreds of nests...

Summertime Saturday fun - sitting around in gulf coast bars playing, "are you smarter than NOAA's computers?" It really is something to hear old guys, who throw mullet nets for fun, arguing about GFS model runs, or SHIPS intensity accuracy...

... The SSTs in the gulf are already into July...
This "thing" has a real chance of simply meandering accross the gulf as a depression for several, if not many, many days - and just screwing up 2 different vacation crowds... Ugh...
