... Wind Advisory now in effect from noon to 9 PM akst Tuesday...
The Wind Advisory is now in effect from noon to 9 PM akst
Tuesday.
A weather front will approach the outer coast tomorrow morning
and generate strong southeasterly winds over the advisory area
tomorrow afternoon. Strongest winds and wind gusts will be in
channeled terrain and exposed southerly locations near the Dixon
Entrance.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speed or frequent gusts
will occur between 40 and 60 mph.
This statement will be updated by 500 am akst Tue or sooner if
conditions warrant.
