      North Vancouver Island
      Central Coast - Coastal Sections.

      Northwest winds 70 to 90 km/h over North Vancouver Island and
      Central Coast - Coastal Sections will ease this morning.

      West winds 50 to 70 km/h over west Vancouver Island and Juan de
      Fuca Strait will ease this morning.

      This is a warning that potentially damaging winds are expected
      or occurring in these regions.  Monitor weather
      conditions..listen for updated statements.

an intense low pressure system tracking onto the British Columbia
coast is spreading strong northwest winds of 70 to 90 km/h to the
North Vancouver Island and Central Coast - Coastal Sections and west
winds 50 to 70 km/h to the west Vancouver Island and Juan de Fuca
Strait.  The strong winds will ease this morning as the low moves
inland and weakens.
