Oh, Margo, you're so kind, but honestly, it's just a practice shot; I really have little idea what I'm doing. No way this can compare with Shane's work! My biggest problem right now is, as I said, not being able to focus properly. On automatic focus, the camera can't see and will simply refuse to take the picture; on manual, all I can do is run it out to infinity and back it off a little bit, but it's impossible to tell exactly how much, nor can I see the small display screen well enough to know how the focus looks. Not until I get it on my computer screen do I know how well I did. At least, with no rain, I wasn't battling the elements on top of all that, LOL! But thanks so much for your enthusiastic response!
