Everyone loves a parade! In Mount Airy on the same day I was there to photograph the Andy Griffith statue and memorabilia, a parade was being held to celebrate Independence Day. People wait in the shade for the first marchers to arrive; some brought their pets. I struck up a conversation with the owners of this little Sheltie.
