I wasn't far into my drive until I hit snow and it alternated with rain and sleet for the first half hour. The last three hours were very warm and partly sunny. This was taken not long before I got to the Continental Divide and the Eisenhower Tunnel. Right above the tall tree in the foreground you should be able to see a large mountain in the distance. It was snowing hard up there! I think Bakerville is the closest town, so I'll use it as the location...close enough.
