Simply stunning!! All those lakes up in that area look like that and someday I will get up there to see it for myself!! Moraine Lake is the same way!! Breathtaking!! Great shot!
Looks like Peyto Lake I love! Been there three times - first time in the late 70's when you just crawled up on the rock and looked - no parking lot or observation platform then! And there was more water in the lake. You have captured the beauty of one of the most beautiful spots in the world very, very well.
Banff is in Alberta, Canada on the border of British Colombia. Peyto Lake is about - as I remember - maybe 40 miles north of Banff along the highway to Jasper. This is one of the most photographed lakes in North America.
