Thanks for the comments and the Approvers for the "AC"... This hawk made it easy! Lesson learned though... I had not cleared memory of the previous day's shots so at the exact moment he flew, I was out of memory and missed the "in flight" shots! :-(

Cptkirk My camera packing sons and I are Kansas transplants from the Rockies!(My special son Michael - handle "utjazzfan", and Shane (Mr. Lightning)- handle "idzrvit" carry our cameras everywhere we go and have been photographing the outdoors and wildlife for over 20 years. I have drawers full of photos, but have "come of age" with digital. I now shoot anything I want without fear of a wasted shot. The result is some terrific photos I may not have taken with my 35mm! Sharing our photos with our friends at "wunderground" is a real plus!
