Thanks for the comments! When we built this house in late 2001 thru about 2005 we would see an occasional scorpion out at night. Once we found a baby scorpion in the house right next to where my youngest daughter was sitting on the floor - it blended in with the color of the carpet, sort of tan/goldish color. She was about 5 back then.
