A beautiful photo of Niagara Falls at night. Congratulations on your AC. However, unless it's pitch dark in Canada/NY at 3:00 in the afternoon, this photo wasn't taken on January 28th, 2011. It is lovely though, whenever it was taken.

I love MissKitty, but I don't quite agree with her although the photographer is the one to ask...my Christmas photo (Peace On Earth) which appears to have been taken at night, was shot at around 3pm with a bright blue sunny sky...
I used a particular setting on my camera and the photo of the afternoon sun actually looked like a nightime star and many people even said "Great star"! (which of course, the sun actually is).
Beautiful AC! Congrats!! Whether a nighttime or daytime photo, it is GREAT!

And I love queenann too, :), but I was just looking at the searchlights and city lights in the distance in this photo and the others in the series. It led me to believe that this was a night shot. And yes, it is a beautiful photo, whether day or night, yesterday, today or whenever. Seems to be a moot point after all....

It's just a glitch in the system that puts in the default date. No problem for the uploader or one of the approvers to modify and correct the date. Yes, it looks like it's corrected now.

Thanks sooo much for capturing and sharing this oooh sooo neat look at Niagara Falls frozen. I love hitting the replay on my memories of seeing Niagara Falls, and I love getting to see pics from this Mystical place all year round. Congrats on your Approvers Choice, I say the whole series is deserving of this. Wow this had to be doubly exhilerating taking this in for real!!!
