What'cha think caused this? Heard nothing! Had a bit of lightening...not much wind & some rain.The rest of the field's, which is HUGE, untouched! Something similar happened 2yrs ago, SAME spot. Damage to corn was less BUT, it left Bowling ball sized divot in dirt that remains! So, Micro-Burst maybe?

And, the divot before, had a swirled pattern & no charring! So, I assumed Wind!
But, @ChrisAnthemum Must be right about trees since it IS the second time in same spot! Huh? Thanx!
