Over 750mm of rainfall in the past 48 hours resulted in the overflowing of 5 dams, 4 major waterways and several creeks that submerged 60% of the Philippine capital in 1-15ft of floodwater.

Almost everything did grind to a halt... commercial establishments and banks were closed for 2 days... markets were destroyed so we had to ration food... But we are recovering now thanks to 2 sunny days over the weekend. :) We do have typhoon again just making landfall a few hours ago.. LOL but only minor rains in here in the capital...
