a beautiful evening with mellow summer light near the town of Grevesmühlen in northern Germany. It's been a good summer for growing food, i.e. grain and fruit is growing well. Fruit trees, apples here, continue to be planted by the side of the road to provide access to free fruit for the people, everyone, no restrictions. A tradition rooted in the many instances of hunger experienced by the local population (all over Europe) until a few years after WWII.
