Thank you both and Max you are too kind. It was a grand sight to witness in the Great Smoky Mountains. I guess the mountains live up to their name since there is always a hazy or film over them. Very beautiful!

About dixiedaughter
dixiedaughter Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2013 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
