While this house, known as Seven Sisters, did meet it's fate during a hurricane event; the hurricane did not cause the damage. The town of Kitty Hawk did not shut the water mains off on the beach road and one broke. The resulting sink hole took Seven Sisters. Unfortunately, every time we have a hurricane or weather event a picture of Seven Sisters is shown as recent damage. Not only was it not in fact destroyed by tides or wind, but it's long gone.
