As of 9 pm this evening, this fire is over 3000 acres and growing. We've had 50+ MPH winds all day all along the Denver Metro, with some gust up in the 90 MPH range on ridges. @joyceg - I see Foxton as one of the roads currently closed. Here's a link that lists closures of major roads. It's now at 4500 acres this afternoon and unfortunately now 2 deaths. So sad. thanks @mike4him. I used to live on red cloud drive which is just across foxton rd from running deer. How sad that the house my dad built could be that close to being burned down.
