Natchez under the Hill was the notorious wharf area along the mighty Mississippi that crawled with a rough crowd in the heyday before the Civil War. Today the area has been revitalized into a thriving tourist district with the paddlewheel boat docked, old wharehouse buildings preserved into businesses, and awesome views spanning the massive bridge over to LA.
