The bay water looks so high from this perspective.

I've been in Tampa for about 6 years and this is, by far, the highest I have ever seen it. It is generally about 3 feet below the sidewalk. The track of the storm was pushing water into the bay so it made for extremely high tides. Yes, I would hate to see what a hurricane can do, too.

About robb04047
robb04047 I have a full time job during the day which deals with workforce optimization. I have been fortunate to travel the country as well as Europe and Asia. My Frequent Flyer Miles replaced an old Minolta SLR that was stolen 20 years ago. I used my miles and purchased the Canon T1i. It was love at first click. Taking pictures helps me forget about all the bad things in the world. Photography forces you to focus solely on the intimate beauty of nature. I have thousands of photographs on display through Facebook. They are mostly available to friends only. If you are interested in seeing other photos I have taken, please send me a friend request and mention Weather Underground.
