This photo was shot at the next bridge downstream of the previous shots: the Champions Forest bridge. This bridge is the lowest crossing of Cypress Creek in my area and was nearly overtopped. Water from the creek was actually pooling on the northern approach of the bridge, with the road flooded beyond there. This is only the 4th time in my life that Cypress Creek flooded the road, with the other 3 happening in the October 1994 Flood event, the October 1998 Flood event, and Tropical Storm Allison in June 2001.
